How to Make a Candle Look Like a Glass of Whiskey

Have you ever considered the creative possibilities of candles? Wax is often made to imitate many different substances, including many liquids and solids. A popular design is to make a candle look like a drink. Instead of spending 20 to 30 dollars for a prefabricated candle, this is how you can make your own imitation of a glass of whiskey.
First: Find a proper glass
Whiskey is frequently served in certain type of glassware. It is usually served in either a highball glass or a shot glass. Choose the one that you prefer. It is more convincing if you use a decorated shot glass because the decorations on the glass draws the eye away from the contents.
Second: Find wax the proper color
Whiskey comes in a range of warm browns and amber's. Find the color of whiskey that you would like to imitate, and purchase a small amount of that color. You should only need two ounces per glass. A transparent or translucent wax provides the best illusion.
Third: Purchase a wick
In order for the candle to burn properly, you must use a proper wick so that the wax travels upwards as it melts. Most wicks are made of cotton, but other types are also available. Choose the one you like best.
Fourth: Melt the wax
In a small pan or on a hot plate, gently melt the wax on low heat until it is completely melted. You do not want to use high heat because you do not want to introduce bubbles.
Fifth: Pour the wax into the glasses
Gently pour the melted wax into your glasses, 1.5 ounces into each glass. Pour from as low as you can, because pouring from too high can cause splashing and introduce bubbles. Put in the wick.
